Compact Substation (CSS)
Compact Substations are ideal for locations where space and safety is a
concern and population density is high. CSS is an enclosed assembly consisting
of high/medium voltage switchgear compartment, distribution transformer
compartment, and low voltage switchboard compartment along with
interconnections to transform energy from medium to low voltage systems.
